According to the well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film raked in an impressive 7.80 crore on Sunday alone, bringing its total domestic box office collection to a staggering 501.17 crore. The film’s remarkable success can largely be attributed to its strong performance in the mass circuits over the past few weeks, as it recently completed its fourth weekend in theaters.
However, Gadar 2’s undisputed reign in the heartland may face a formidable challenger with the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated movie, Jawan, this upcoming Thursday. Gadar 2, which also stars Ameesha Patel, made its theatrical debut on August 11 and has shattered numerous box office records since then.
